Senior Director Strategic Partnerships and Business Development

Behavioral Health Group (BHG) is seeking a Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships & Market Development to drive enterprise growth by developing strategic referral partnerships and market expansion initiatives.

This role focuses on identifying, building, and expanding high-value referral relationships with health systems, hospitals, emergency departments, behavioral health providers, FQHCs, criminal justice organizations, government agencies, and managed care organizations to increase patient access and drive admissions growth.

Salary: $160,000 - $220,000 annually, depending on experience.

Location: Remote (Denver, CO preferred)

Requirements:

• 7+ years in healthcare business development, strategic partnerships, provider relations, market development, sales, or growth leadership
• Demonstrated success in building executive-level relationships and generating measurable business growth
• Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to operate independently in an entrepreneurial environment
• Significant travel (50-75%) required
• Preferred: Experience with government procurement, public-sector contracting, behavioral health/addiction treatment, and multi-site healthcare organizations

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in healthcare business development or growth leadership
• Proven track record in executive-level relationship management
• Expertise in contract negotiation and managing complex partnerships
• Ability to work cross-functionally with clinical, operations, and executive leadership
