As Accounting Manager, you will serve as a core contributor to payroll processing and monthly close. The role owns the AP cycle end to end through Bill.com and QuickBooks, runs payroll on a hard biweekly cutoff, and maintains restricted-funding tracking so grant and donor dollars stay within their intended restrictions. Accuracy, timeliness, and clean documentation are the defining expectations, since this work feeds directly into month-end close, audit, and funder reporting.

We are looking for someone who brings 4+ years of nonprofit or general accounting experience, demonstrated experience with multi-state payroll, and proficiency with Quickbooks, Bill.com and UKG.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working inside deadline-driven cycles, and confident owning a process end-to-end without close supervision.

Compensation and benefits:

• $65,000 to $75,000 annually, based on experience
• 25 days of PTO per year
• 11 paid holidays, plus a floating holiday

• Remote work, with real value placed on candidates local to St. Louis who can occasionally connect in person
