Living Goods is a non-profit organization founded in 2007 that partners with governments in Sub-Saharan Africa to strengthen health systems. It digitally empowers community health workers (CHWs) to deliver life-saving healthcare door-to-door, leveraging mHealth solutions, data-driven decision making, and AI to improve service delivery.
The organization operates in Kenya, Uganda, and Burkina Faso. It currently supports over 12,000 community health workers who serve approximately 6.7 million people, at a cost of less than $3 per person reached. Living Goods has set a 2030 target of supporting 50,000 CHWs to reach 25 million people.
The model focuses on building sustainable public health infrastructure by integrating technology and community-based care, with an emphasis on measurable health outcomes and cost efficiency at scale.
