
Resource Development Administrator
Position Summary
The mission of United Way of the Midlands (UWM) is to unite people and resources to improve the quality of life in the Midlands. We drive impact by strengthening our community’s resilience by advancing health, youth opportunities, and financial security.
The RD Administrator is a supporting role on the UWM Resource Development Team and serves as the coordinator of RD communications, tracking, reporting, purchasing and financial reconciliation. The position also provides support in contract process, presentation development, database management, and CDO executive admin support.
Position Responsibilities - Essential
Revenue and Recruitment Communication, Tracking and Reporting
Regular and ongoing communications including engagement group welcome packets, meeting minutes, newsletters and email campaigns
Invoicing, purchasing, sponsorship deliverables tracking
Weekly and monthly revenue reports for both internal staff use and data visualization for campaign committee communication
Formatting and standardizing templates for volunteer roles, committee meetings, year-at-a-glance etc.…
Process documentation and moves management support
RSVP tracking, follow-up and confirmation calls
Interdepartmental Administrative Liaison
Administrative collaboration on projects like (but not limited to) thank you letters, budget management (including monthly credit card reconciliation), volunteer recruitment, envelope submissions, communications requests, donation forms set-up and reports
Ad hoc project work based on org goal priorities
Executive Assistant Support
Meeting scheduling, prep, follow-up and supporting research
Expense report management
Presentation prep
Skills & Experience
Essential
High level of proficiency with Excel/Power BI, Canva, PowerPoint and MS Office
Detail-oriented: demonstrated high degree of accuracy in work, strength in creating detailed plans, ability to meet deadlines, self-organized and proficiency in managing a project from beginning to end
Effective communications: excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to “read” the climate and tailor communications to meet collaborators and audience where they’re at in the moment
Track record of high-level customer service that models over-delivery of experience
Beneficial Skills & Experience
Bachelors degree or relevant education and experience in related field
Project management/agile development experience
Use case requirements documenting and/or process management flow chart development familiarity
Graphic design skills
