Director of Development, Corporate & Foundation Relations, UF Health

The University of Florida (UF Health) seeks a Director of Development, Corporate & Foundation Relations to serve as a key member of the UF Health Advancement team. This role is responsible for securing philanthropic support through strategic corporate and foundation partnerships, managing a portfolio of prospects, developing funding proposals, and collaborating with stakeholders to align funding opportunities with institutional priorities.

Responsibilities:

• Build and manage a portfolio of corporate and foundation prospects ($100,000+); cultivate relationships and perform stewardship
  
• Identify and solicit prospects; lead the development of grant proposals and sponsorship requests
  
• Draft and submit proposals; monitor progression, ensure compliance, and manage post-funding reporting
  
• Coordinate campus visits, attend events as a representative, and act as an intermediary between faculty/physicians and funding institutions
  
• Work with faculty, researchers, and advancement colleagues to define funding needs and promote a culture of philanthropy

Qualifications:

• Master's degree and three years of relevant experience; OR a bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience
  
• Preferred: Four to six years of major gift fundraising experience in corporate and foundation relations; prior university or nonprofit experience
  
• Strong written/verbal communication, project management, and interpersonal abilities; proficiency in Microsoft Office
  
• Valid driver's license required; ability to travel is essential
