Looking for a way to contribute locally? Help build a more resilient region by joining the Humboldt Permaculture Guild Board!

Did you know that the Humboldt Permaculture Guild is an entirely volunteer-run organization?

In addition to our amazing volunteers who aid in everything from putting on workshops to making the annual Seed, Plant & Scion Exchange, the HPG Board of Directors is responsible for all that is needed to ensure we can continue providing expansive community experiences to build a healthier redwood bioregion for all—and YOU are invited to be part of it!

The HPG Board meets monthly for two hours, with members asked to commit to a three-year seat. Beyond the monthly meetings, members typically contribute 1-4 hours per month to activities such as event support, communications, fundraising, admin, and all the things needed to keep a non-profit going.

While Board members bring a variety of skills and experience to the table, we are specifically looking to fill the role of Treasurer and are in great need of a dedicated Grant Writer. Folks with backgrounds in general fundraising and planning or leading workshops are also highly encouraged to apply. Permaculture knowledge is, of course, a plus!

Have a direct hand in building this organization and all we can do for our community and planet by being part of it!

Sound like something you are interested in being part of? Fill out our Board questionnaire.

Thank you for your interest in serving on the HPG Board!
