The Michigan Primary Care Association, a nonprofit membership organization supporting Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and other community health organizations, is seeking a Senior Director of Compliance and Regulatory Affairs. The role provides subject-matter expertise, leadership, and direction to help member organizations understand and maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and programmatic and funding requirements.

The Senior Director develops resources and interpretive aids, delivers legal and regulatory training and updates, facilitates professional communities focused on legal and compliance matters, and promotes a culture of compliance across member organizations. Serving as an internal legal and regulatory resource, the role interfaces with members and collaborates with external legal, regulatory, and compliance partners (such as the NACHC Regulatory Affairs team and specialized health-law firms). • Experience with federal, state, and local regulatory and compliance requirements affecting Federally Qualified Health Centers or community health organizations (for example HRSA, 340B, and program/funding requirements)
  • Ability to translate complex legal and regulatory requirements into practical guidance, interpretive resources, and training for member organizations
  • Strong communication skills and experience developing memos, fact sheets, newsletters, and presentations for professional audiences
  • Experience collaborating with external legal, regulatory, and compliance partners and facilitating professional communities
