Full-Time - DVSA Community Advocacy Manager

The Community Advocacy Manager is responsible for program management and crisis intervention through supportive services to individuals and families impacted by domestic violence and sexual assault. As a member of the Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault ( DVSA ) leadership team you will ensure coverage of on-call and after hour coverage for the department. The Community Advocacy Manager will perform their roles and responsibilities in-line with Family Pathways Mission, Vision, and guiding principles.

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in social services, community/public health, or related field and/or 3+ years of experience with the domestic violence or victim services field.
• 2+ years of experience in direct supervision and management of staff and volunteers, budgets, and public relations.
• Familiar with trauma-informed, client-centered, strength-based, and employment models.
• Experience providing advocacy to victims, preferably in the domestic violence or sexual assault field.
• A leader and team player committed to advancing vision, mission, values, and guiding principles.
• Demonstrated passion to work with diverse and/or low-income populations, including those experiencing food insecurity, homelessness, domestic violence and/or mental illness.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information and confidential matters.
• Ability to plan, direct, and review the work of others with confidence and clarity.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; excellent listening skills.
• Organized and works well under pressure and manages multiple projects/deadlines.
• Must have a dependable vehicle, a current and valid Driver’s License, and proof of current insurance.
• Must have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) and a passing background check.
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time, close vision, ability to adjust focus, and see color.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat products.

Starting Salary: $52,000/Annually
