Registered Nurse (PRN)
Bring skilled, person-centered nursing care to women and children building lives in recovery.
LIV Recovery is a growing behavioral health organization built on dignity, second chances, and person-centered care. We are looking for a dependable Registered Nurse who can pair sound clinical judgment with respect for each person’s strengths, preferences, and lived experience.

You will manage assigned nursing responsibilities independently while following established clinical protocols, professional standards, and the scope of your Missouri RN license.
Workplace setting: This is a PRN position scheduled according to program needs. The role supports LIV Recovery’s CSTAR Women and Children program and requires appropriate clinical communication and accountability.

- Strong clinical judgment, organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently within established protocols
- Clear, respectful communication with people receiving services, healthcare providers, and program leadership
- Commitment to confidentiality, safety, and trauma-informed, culturally responsive, recovery-oriented care that respects dignity, autonomy, strengths, preferences, and goals
Helpful experience
- Substance use disorder treatment, behavioral health, residential treatment, or community-based healthcare
- Serving women who are pregnant or postpartum, parents, and children
- Medication monitoring, care coordination, and trauma-informed practice
- Missouri CSTAR program requirements and Department of Mental Health standards
Why this role
This is an opportunity to bring clinical skill and steady judgment to a mission that values dignity, safety, autonomy, and shared decision-making. Your work will help women and children identify health concerns early, navigate care, and pursue recovery and wellness goals with informed, respectful support.
Medical decisions, prescribing, medication orders, and other services requiring an authorized healthcare professional remain within that professional’s authority. The RN may not prescribe medications or perform duties outside the scope of licensure and demonstrated competence. Required orientation, competency verification, and clinical privileging must be completed before assigned duties are performed independently.
