Functional Industries is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and motivated Skills Instructor to join our DREAM Work Training Program!

In this rewarding, hands-on role, you will support individuals with disabilities in developing valuable work skills, building independence, and achieving personal goals. The Skills Instructor works alongside individuals in a supportive, team-oriented environment, providing guidance and hands-on assistance with production, assembly, and quality assurance of work while promoting workplace readiness, teamwork, and attention to detail.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1–3 years of related experience preferred
• Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to provide hands-on instruction, encouragement, and individualized support
• Ability to perform moderate physical activity and lift 50 lbs
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid Minnesota driver's license and current automobile insurance preferred
• Required background and applicable clearances
