Functional Industries is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and motivated Skills Instructor to join our DREAM Enrichment Program!

In this rewarding, hands-on role, you will support individuals with disabilities in participating in meaningful daily life enrichment activities, developing essential life skills, and building independence. The Skills Instructor provides person-centered support through engaging activities, educational experiences, recreational opportunities, and community outings that encourage personal growth, social connections, and community inclusion. This position also assists individuals with personal care needs, daily living activities, and individualized goals while creating a positive, supportive, and fun environment where everyone has the opportunity to thrive!

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1–3 years of related experience preferred
• Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to provide hands-on assistance with daily living activities and personal care needs
• Passion for supporting individuals with disabilities and promoting independence
• Ability to perform moderate physical activity and lift up 50 lbs.
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid Minnesota driver's license and current automobile insurance preferred
• Required background and applicable clearances
