Youth Services Assistant (Part Time)

The Youth Services Assistant provides front-line customer service to library patrons in person and by phone, especially youth from birth to 18 years of age, and their caregivers. The employee in this position works with division coworkers, the Youth Services Manager, and the Youth Services Assistant Manager as a team to implement the library’s mission, strategic priorities, and literacy goals for this age group. The role includes providing customer service, assisting patrons, preparing areas for service, supporting collection development, and monitoring patron behavior.
