Adopt-A-State Volunteer

The Dragonfly Project's mission is to bring a message of hope to those who are grieving. We are seeking volunteers for our "Adopt-A-State" Program. This involves being assigned an area (state, group of counties, or city) and periodically monitoring funeral homes in your assigned area for obituaries that meet our suggested criteria. We will train you on how to find mailing addresses for the surviving loved ones, and you'll sign condolence cards with "The Dragonfly Story" printed in them and address envelopes, which will eventually go to one of our "packet assembly events" before being mailed to the surviving loved one. This volunteer job is fully remote, and we just ask that you spend at least 3 hours per month whenever possible. Training will be provided. We'd love to talk with you about this opportunity!
